What is a Blog? A blog is an online-diary whereby one could write their encounter for the day or the feelings they had, regardless good or bad. After all, it helps to save the natural resources -- saving paper.

My friends always says i am very out dated person because i do not own a blog. However, i believe one should not follow blindly with the crowd. But i believe that by writing a blog, i gain more writing skills and have a chance to express my thinking and improve on my English.

I have ponder and think of a very long time before i start today's topic -- Self Concept.

Here it goes.

How i perceive myself?When i am with my friends who can speak good English , i feel that i am not confident enough to speak up as my pronunciation is bad . There is one incident where i pronounce "damn" to "dumb" which the meaning of these two words are different. It may cause unnecessary misunderstanding too.

I am currently pursuing my Diploma in Communication in Taylor College at KL. This course enable us to communicate and interact with people in English. This enables me to gain more knowledge and improve on my English and express my thoughts easier. By learning how to communicate, you get to know more friends too.

I am staying in a hostel with my friends. so I had to be independent on alot of things. I always remember what my father had advise me. He told me that "the road is yours, only you decide which route you wan to walk". Hence, i decided to choose this course as i am interested and not blindly following my friends in high school.

Despite the difficulties and obstacles i have met along the way, i have learnt how to survive in this new environment and will continue to pave a good path for myself.

I believe that soon enough, i can see the rainbow in my life.
